We started making hot sauce as a hobby back in 2009. By early 2018, demands from friends for more regular supplies, and our by then infamous virgin mary, saw Ed give up his day job and a business was born. We want to make things that we love, that bring delight to others as well: Fine British Goods in every sense of the words.
Our hot sauce is designed to be the tastiest hot sauce, not the hottest. An everyday source of heat and flavour to be used liberally on pretty much anything, from breakfast eggs to a toasted sandwich and everything in between.
The Virgin Mary came from our own need. Why was it so hard to find a great one? We started with the best juice we could find, then added our hot sauce, blended in the garnish, made our own Vegan Worcester sauce and cooked it with a mix of horseradish and other spices. The result we think is exactly what you want a Virgin Mary to be – refine, complex and packs a punch. You only need to decide if you want to add liquor, and how much.
