I am not British by birth. However, I have always had a love for the nature and character of Britain. Combining this with a strong interest in folk art from around the world, I have created Wild Fox Designs. My influences come from everywhere, including Scandinavian design, European gypsy style and of course, British woodland animals. I am particularly concerned about the comeback and survival of the native red squirrel and hope one day to collaborate with the RSST to use my designs as part of a project to support their work.
Initially I have produced aprons and tea towels, as nowadays they can be produced in small quantities with the advent of digital printing.
In all my products, I use natural materials such as cotton wherever possible, and manufacture them in the UK, to support local businesses and UK manufacturing.
