During the renovation of her new home, an overgrown former market gardens called Mosney, Emma Sutton uncovered its rich history. It was the site of a former print works from 1780-1788 and the site of the invention of the first calico printing press, capable of printing up to 6 colours simultaneously. An invention that paved the way towards modern day fabric printing, a sign to Emma she should bring print back to Mosney.Mosney Mill offer fantastic collections of country style, kitchenware, gifts & home décor, all manufactured in Great Britain, wherever possible Lancashire, where Emma lives on the sight of the former Mosney Print Works. Emma’s hand drawn illustrations of the flora and fauna that she sees from her studio window adorn a range of superb quality products, all of which she has sourced herself, using the best quality craftsmanship and manufacturing available, in order to ensure that Mosney Mill’s product range exudes British quality & charm.
