We are hiring - Internal Sales Executive

The Great British Exchange (GBE) is an online business-to-business marketplace for retailers, promoting the best new British made brands across a variety of product categories ranging from fashion, homewares to food & drink.

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic sales people to join our exciting and growing business. You will be responsible for introducing the Great British Exchange to new prospective customers, following up on sales leads and managing a group of existing accounts. You will be targeted on closing sales over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.

Successful candidates must be excellent communicators and have superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products over the phone and a motivated self-starter.

The goal is to help the company grow by closing sales, bringing in new customers and developing business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an important member of the GBE, you will be responsible for a category of retail customers and you will be required to manage and grow your category.

Your primary objective will be to develop sales orders, keep in regular contact with potential and existing customers over the phone.

The role will require you to build relationships with a large database of retailers, regularly introducing them to exciting new products and brands.

You will also be required to book appointments for the external sales team.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have a proven track record working in a sales environment and demonstrate an inherent knowledge of the sales process.

You will have an ability to eloquently describe product features, advantages and benefits.

You will have an ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and show a determination to exceed targets.

You will have experience inputting data into a CRM system and be computer literate.

Have a cool temperament and an ability to deal with challenging situations.
