Best Of Britannia‘s (BOB) Buy British Day takes place this Saturday and here at The Great British Exchange we are 100% behind encouraging consumers to support brands and businesses that design and manufacture in Britain.
On Saturday 3rd October BOB will be hosting pop-up events in London and Preston. Partnering with Made in Britain the events will take place at London’s King Cross in conjunction with Wayne Hemingway’s ‘The Classic Car Boot Sale’ in Granary Square and in Preston, a pop-up retail outlet will be in the middle of Fishergate shopping centre and on the concourse at Preston train station.
Jo Pidgeon, co-founder of the event commented, “Best Of Britannia works all year round in driving awareness about British-made products and truly British brands rather than those who purport to be British but manufacture everything overseas, Buy British Day gives us the opportunity to focus the public’s attention on how important this is to the economy, the environment in terms of the sustainability of produce and also the provenance of the product they are buying.”
Buy British Day aims to engage with consumers who care about the provenance of what they’re buying and here at The GBE we would love to hear from retailers and British producers who are getting behind the campaign.
You can show your support @BestBritannia and #BuyBritishDay … We’d like to wish everyone a great day!
